Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

CO2 productiois anticipated at approximately 105,000 tonnes net.

We have a letter of interest for the building of an independent CO2 plant as an adjunct to the main plant to capture the CO2 for commercial use thereby providing an additional revenue stream.
Drying Distillers’ Dried Grains and Solubles (DDGS)

Distillers’ dried grains with solubles (“DDGS”) are the dried residue remaining after the starch fraction of corn is fermented. With completion of the fermentation process, the alcohol is removed by distillation and the remaining fermentation residues are dried, producing DDGS.

We have a letter of interest to market the DDGS to adjacent industry along with stillage creating 2 more revenue streams for the plant.

The plant is designed to utilize one rotary drum dryer to produce DDGS with 10 percent moisture content. The plant will be designed to allow management to produce co-products with 50 percent moisture content, or bypass the dryer system completely. With the dryer bypass option, the plant can produce distiller’s wet grains (DWG), for cattle rations for the immediate vicinity.. Approximately 50% of the Distillers grains produced will be sold wet and again we have letters to that effect for off take  of the entire production  which will find its’ way to the nearby “Dairy Capital of Ontario” i.e. the City of Woodstock

This 50-50 mix of DDGS and DWG again gives us many economic and environmental advantages like reduced energy requirements while ensuring higher value added DDGS revenues by utilizing the heat from the co-gen operation for the drying, to name just a few.
Distillers Grain and Ethanol Storage

Distiller’s wet grains (DWG) will be stored in a flat storage area, pushed into a pit via a front-end loader and conveyed into the outbound live-bottom semi-trailer trucks. Most of the syrup from the evaporator will be added to the DWG. Additional syrup storage and shipping facilities are part of the overall plant design.

Dried distillers grains (DDGS) will be stored on concrete inside a cold storage building. When shipping the product, it will be pushed into a floor-recessed auger with a skid or front-end loader, lifted via a short elevator leg and  dropped into hopper trucks and delivered next door. Denatured ethanol is stored in a large floating roof tank and is loaded for transport via rail car to market.
Steam and Electricity

Steam and electricity will be supplied by a co-gen operation that uses plant and solid wastes.  The electricity production will be sufficient to produce a revenue stream for the complex.
